Harris e members of the Twenty-nin- Harris family met at the Portage Ward meeting house and enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner together. Seven of the sons and daughters of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wm. D. Harris and their spouses were present. They were Ulalla and Con Hansen, Evelyn and Lee Fuhriman of Tremonton, Orville and Helen Harris, Wm. R. and Marilyn Harris of Idaho, LeOra and Lamont Moore of Idaho Falls, Wendell and Carol Harris of Springfield, Ore., and Virgil and Maude Harris of Portage. Marjorie and Charles Ward of Ogden were not present due to illness. Elder Kim Gibbs, his parents, Mr. and Mrs Lorin LaDell Gibbs, Bishop Douglas J. Gibbs and Regional Representative Devere Harris were the speakers at Sacrament meeting here Sunday evening prior to Elder Gibbs leaving for the California San Diego LDS mission. Following the meeting Mr. and Mrs. Gibbs hosted a buffet luncheon at their home. Approximately 60 were served. Dr. Max Conley of Bountiful came Wednesday for his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John F. Conley and took them to his home for the Thanksgiving holidays. He brought them home Saturday. Severe Storm A severe wind and blizzard isolated this community Sunday night and school teachers, cooks, Thiokol workers, school bus drivers, sugar factory employees and others were grounded Monday moi ning. The only one who reached the highway was Joan Gibbs. Her son Burke took her to meet her car pool on his snowmobile. Joe Morris, railroad section foreman left at midnight to be on the job Monday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Turley and daughters, Shantelle and Tiffany Love of Salt Lake City were overnight guests of Mrs. Turleys parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wendell C. Hall and were also their Thanksgiving dinner guests. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Ray McAllister and Miss Beverly Jenkins of Logan and Mr. and Mrs. Euvene Halford of Garland. Gibbs returned to his home Monday after an eight-da- y Caribbean cruise. He reports a very enjoyable trip and various interesting modes of travel enroute home. Sidney Conley met him at the Salt Lake City airport and took him to the home of her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Max Conley of Bountiful Saturday night. Sunday he traveled by bus to Tremonton and spent the night with Mr. and Mrs. Theo Coombs and family. Mrs. Coombs brought to the McCrary service station and ValDee Gibbs brought him to his home on hts snowmobile Monday morning. Mr. and Mrs. James E. John are vacationing in Boise, Parma and other places in Idaho with relatives.
