Harris Mr. and Mrs. David P. Gibbs enjoyed visiting with most of their family members at their home Saturday. A pot luck dinner was served on long tables on the lawn. The afternoon was spent visiting and playing games. present were Mr. and Mrs. Donald J. Gibbs and family, Kaysville, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Nelson, Mantua, Mr. and Mrs. Gale Gibbs, Sparks, Nev., Mrs. Robert Denny and children, Green Acres, Wash., Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Nelson and family, Perry, Mr. and Mrs. David Nelson, Clarkston. They all returned to their homes Saturday night except Mr. and Mrs. Gale Gibbs and Mrs. Denny and family who left Sunday. Those Baby Blessed The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Joedy Anderson of Brigham City was blessed at Sacrament meeting here Sunday by Stephen L. Harris and given the name, Jared Shane. Mrs. ElVoid Gibbs of Wendell, Idaho, and Mrs. Gordon Gibbs and four children of Tracy, Calif., were overnight guests of Mrs. Thelma D. Gibbs Saturday. Sunday morning they visited with Mr. and Mrs. John F. Conley before going to Wendell. Mr. and Mrs. Wendell C. Hall returned to their home Monday, July 28, after a two weeks vacation trip to California. They were the guests of their son, Roger Hall of San Francisco who met them at Reno, Nev. They attended the Tony Bennett show at Reno and spent the night there. They visited at Stockton, Calif., with Mrs. Arlene Cooke who is a sister of Mr. Hall, at Sunnyvale with Mr. Halls brother and sister-in-laMr. and Mrs. Taft Hall. They visited Marine Lane, Africa USA, enjoyed the Harber Cruise and many other points of in- terest. Enroute home they spent a night at Elko, Nev. Mr. and Mrs. E.T. Hackins visited with Mrs. Marilda K. Flint of Clearfield and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Hackins and son Todd of Ogden Sunday. Todd returned home with them for a visit. River Run Mr. and Mrs. Reed Nielsen were among the Box Elder county commissioners and the Sheriff and their wives on the Fish and Game sponsored River Run at Flaming gorge on the Green river beginning at Dutch John Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. They report an enjoyable trip. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin John of Bountiful brought Marvins mother, Mrs. E. Wynn John who has been with her and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Skip Chandler of Salt Lake City for the past five days, to the Logan temple Friday where they joined Mr. John and son, Elder J. Neal John where Elder John received his endowments prior to entering the mission field in the near future. Mr. and Mrs. Chandler also attended. Mrs. Owen Nielsen and dauson-in-la- ghters, Natalie and Keeley attended the Wharton family reunion at Lava Hot springs Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Hoskins attended funeral services for N. Don Humphreys, father of Mrs. Jack Hoskins, at Ogden Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Larry L. Howell and family are vacationing at Yellowstone National park this week. Mrs. David P. Gibbs, June Denny, son Kevin and daughters, Terry and Kathy, Doris Nelson and Ada Gibbs attended the performance of Saturdays Warrior at Salt Lake City Tuesday evening. Dinner Guests Mr. and Mrs. Les Holcomb of Lehi were Sunday dinner guests of Mrs. Holcombs mother, Mrs. Eliza Knudsen. Dr. and Mrs. Darrell Rose and family of Rochester, Minn., visited with Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Harris Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Devere Harris, daughter, Lori and Debbie Gibbs left Saturday for Seattle, Wash., where they attend a National Public Insurance, Co., convention. Mr. and Mrs. Whitney Wright of Salt Lake City were Sunday and guests of their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Loren LaDell Gibbs and family. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Roderick and daughter Camie took Mrs. Rodericks parents, Mr. and Mrs. Heinz Uhrig and daughters, Ute and Christine to the Salt Lake City airport Sunday morning at which point they left for Augusta, Ga., to visit relatives before leaving for their home in Germany. They have visited here for the past two and one half weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Hoskins took their grandson, Rick Hoskins, to his home in Roy Monday after a few days visit here. son-in-la- Returns Home Robert Callister of Ogden FOOD STAMP SHOPPERS came Thursday to get his wife, Sandra, who has been with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Morris for the past 10 days recuperating following surgery. They took their little daughter, Stephanie home with them after being with her grandparents for a month. Their son Jason stayed for a longer visit. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Wiser of Twin Falls spent the weekend with Mrs. Wisers parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chester P. Neal. June Denny and children, Terry, Kathy, Kevin and Steven who were visiting from Washington and Doris Nelson of A Mantua spent Thursday at Hogle Zoo and points of interest in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Gus Benson and son Gary of Canoga Park, Calif., and Mrs. Louise Allen of Ogden arrived Sunday night at Mrs. Allens home here for a visit with relatives and friends. MMi fijUUE New Baby Word was received by Mr, and Mrs. Reed Nielsen of the birth of a baby boy to Mr. and Mrs. Gary Cannon of North Ogden, Thursday, July 31, their third son. Mrs. Cannon was the former Jeane Nielsen. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Reed Nielsen of Portage, Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Cannon of Great grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Harold San-da- ll of Tremonton. Mr. and Mrs. Josh Hawks and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Nielsen attended Sacrament meeting at Rexburgh, Idaho Sunday in the interest of Mr. and Mrs. Hawks granddaughter, the infant of Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Hawks who was blessed and given the name Natalie by her father. A grass fire at the Dennis Hammond place caused excitement here Monday but due to neighbors with garden hoses, shovels and wet sacks it was soon extinguished. Mrs. Dora Roylance of Salt Lake City visited Monday with Maude Harris. Sunday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ora H. John were Mrs. Cora McCrary son Vance and Mrs. Grace Fessler of Ogden. quick-thinkin- 1 1 OZ MON DEL ORANGE g Help with Harvest Allan Nielsen who has attended the Community college at Vancover, BC, arrived home Sunday to help his father, Reed Nielsen and his brother, Owen with the harvest. Mr. and Mrs. Loyal G. Harris and Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Harris returned to their homes Monday from a weeks vacation trip to northern Idaho, Montana and to the Canadian border and report an enjoyable scenic trip. Stephen fished at Priest lake, Clearwater lake and Salmon river. Mr. and Mrs. Wendell C. Hall visited at Preston Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Victor Halford. Arthur L. Gibbs and Mrs' John F. Conley visited with Mrs. Sarah Morris at her home in Ogden Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Murray Hoskins of Clearfield and Mr. and Mrs. Randy Stanger and daughter of Layton spent the weekend here. Brent Hoskins who has spent the past two weeks here returned to his home in Clearfield with them. Attend Funeral Nan (Howell) Beckstrom of Benjamin, Utah and members of her family, Ronald, Sheldon and Arba of Orem visited with Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Howell Thursday evening enroute to their homes after attending funeral services for Rasty Caple at McCammon. Mr. and Mrs. E.
