Goodliffe shot the best gross score of the tournament a 145, three under par for the 36 holes. Some 63 players participated in the annual affair and most were joined by partners for a steak fry and special fun contests after the conclusion. In the championship flight of the tournament based on net scores Jim Earl walked off with first place with Bud Powers, second. Other Finishers Other finishers in that flight in order are Jim Mack, third, Rees Nielsen, fourth, Lee Bailey, fifth and Leo Farnsworth, Bruce Stevens and Dave Smith tied for sixth. In the masters flight Jim Mullins and Dave Jensen tied for net after 36 holes of play with Mullins the winner in a sudden death play off. Finishing third in that flight was A1 Jensen with Jay Herbert fourth, Wendell Johnson fifth, Dewey Wright sixth and Ken Beach and Steve Stumm tied for seventh. The Directors flight was won by Ted Valentine who came in with by far the best net score of the day a 130. Taking second in the Directors flight was Dave Baty; third Satch Pearce; fourth Chuck Voris fifth Stan Stoner; sixth Chuck Whitaker and tied for seventh Rex Bryant and Skip Dunlavey. Doubles Singles Club Team Brigham City Country clubs four man team based on the four low gross scores in the tournament will be Reid Good-liffRees Nielsen. Jim Mack and Jim Earl.
