Canada Montreal mission, where he has been serving the past two years as an LDS missionary. Friends and relatives of Elder Jeppesen ere invited to attend a homecoming testimonial to be held in the Sixteenth ward on Sunday, July 13. The meeting will take place in the Box Elder South stake center at 4 p.m. During his mission, Elder Jeppesen labored in Montreal, Shawinigan, Quebec City, and Gatineau, Quebec. He also served as a district leader and worked in the mission office. Leon Jensen traveled to Seattle with Mr. and Mrs. Vay Jensen, flew home and was met at the Salt Lake airport by his daughter Janet Winward. His Lonnie Jensen grandson brought him to Bear River City on Thursday. Dewey Ramsdel was in Tremonton hospital from Thursday to Saturday with a kidney stone. He seems to be getting along alright. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Loo and son Jay and daughter Jennifer from Torrance, Calif, are here visiting Flossie with and Dewey, Dee and Dixie Ram-sdeand other family members. ll Just In Time Karen and Jennifer walked over to Dollie and LaMarr Iversons Sunday afternoon in time to visit with Carla and Robert Dennison who were in from Cupertino, Calif, over the weekend visiting with their relatives the Iversons, the Boyd Hawkes and the Pete Misrasis. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Hawkes and Earl and Jenny Wood took a field trip Friday the 4th up to American Falls mostly on back roads through the farm ground to see how the crops were doing in that area. They observed an abundance of wild flowers. Carrie A. Christensen spent the June 29 in Salt Lake with her son Dallas and family. July 6, she was invited up to Tremonton at Chuck and LaRae Nelsons for a party in honor of her great granddaughter Kayla Mortensens 15th birthday. Mrs. LeAnna Mortensen and daughters Kayla and Susan drove up from Las Vegas. Mrs. Mortensen returned to her home Sunday but the girls are staying with their grandparents for the next six weeks. Susan and Sylvia Grimmett accompanied by their grandparents Dorothy and Kenneth Paskett spent July 4 in Logan attending the Cache Valley Quarterhorse Youth show. Last Tuesday afternoon Andrea Hansen was delightfully surprised by a visit from Doyle Christensen, a former neighbor boy who grew up here in town. After spending two hours visiting with Andrea he drove into Brigham to visit with Henry at the Pioneer Rest home. and then came up to Bear River to help Andrea with, her house work. Neal and Charlene Oman stayed at Neals parents home Brigham City while they were here from their home in North Long Beach, California, to attend their 20th class reunion. Last Saturday Eva Thorsen had all the family here for dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Steven Thorsen, the Omans, Peggy Oman and new baby from Germany. Getting Ready The Neal Omans were getting ready to return to their home Wednesday but Neals mother died on Tuesday so they will be here another week. The four Oman children drove up from California on Wednesday. Arua, Bob and Duane Archibald and the Spencer Archibald family left July 1 for a fishing trip to Pine Dale, Wyo. They report that they caught a lot of fish but the weather was just as hot there as here so they came home Saturday. Velma Graves of JoBarJet. She has been in Springville a week previous visiting people there. Keith and Deo Johnsen took a week out of their busy schedule and spent the whole time in and around the Billings, Mont. area. and Mrs. John Bishop the Carma Fragmont, Hansens daughter who lives in Soda Springs, Idaho drove down morning and spent an hour or so with her Dad early Tuesday Went to Visit They went to visit Roy and Gladys Thorjen and Winnie and Alvin Jensen who are spending some time in the area.
