It also approved conditional elk and deer hunts to be authorized on open bull elk units and any m deer units where deemed necessary by the Division of Wildlife Resources. Some Fee Changes The board raised the fee of the five bighorn sheep, 10 buffalo and 25 moose permits to $100. Those three game species may be hunted only once in a lifetime in Utah. The bighorn sheep hunt will be Sept. 20 to Sept. 28 on the San Juan unit, while the buffalo hunt will be Nov. 8 to Nov. 17 on the Henry Mountains. The moose hunt will be Sept. 6 to Sept. 20 with 20 permits on the Uinta North Slopes (unit one), and five permits on the Ogden Creek-Cach- e River-Los- t unit. Antelope hunters will find regulations much the same in the past during the Sept. 6 to Sept 14 season. One new unit has been added, the Icelander Wash area, where 10 permits will be allotted for the first time. Altogether, some 245 antelope permits will be issued.
