During his mission he served in Newton and Marysville, Kan., Norman and Oklahoma City, Okla.; and Joplin and Monett, Mo. He was also a zone leader. Thursday, October 3, 1974 Buzzing Bear River New daughter arrives to Bear River couple by Senneth Hawkes Mr. and Mrs. Carter Iverson got a baby girl last Thursday and every one morning acquainted with them are as happy as they are. She weighed in at 7 pounds 7 ounces and they will name her Joni Mae. Their little son Rex is also very pleased with the new sister. Mrs. Iversons father Glen Jones from Carbondale, Colo., drove back here for a visit but he had no idea a new granddaughter would arrive. Norma Nahlee, Kathy OBrian and Ronda Silva all of Brigham called at the Iverson home Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Iverson received word from their son Kevin stationed at Fort Lewis in Washington that he has had to under go more surgery on his wrist. He and his wife spent last weekend in Edmons, Wash., visiting with an aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Conger and a cousin Bob Conger. He has to go back to the hospital for some more work this week. Steven and Robyn and Jami Lee Hawkes of Salt Lake were visiting with relatives in the area over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Ebbie Silva and Randy, Robart and Ronda and BuShawn Silva spent Saturday evening with the Boyd Hawkes. Robert are and Ronda preparing to move to Soda Springs, Idaho, where Robert has employment. Ronda and son are staying with the Hawkes until they find a place to live up there. Ada Williams had surgery Monday at the Cooley hospital. She is doing great at the home of her daughter Adrean Thompson grandchild for the Dale Burts and visiting at the Burt home were: Mrs. C.N. Burt of Brigham, Mrs. Rueban Rhees of Pleasant View, Mrs. ReNee Jacob, Ogden and Junior Burt of Ogden. Michelle and Marilyn Burt were home from Weber State College university over the weekend. LaDee and LaDean Reay of Corinne visited with their grandmother, Mrs. Sarah Reay on Sunday. Lorilee Anderson of Pocatello visited with the Mario Checketts on Thursday. The county D.U.P. board met at the home of Bernice Tait in Honeyville Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Ann Barker had her sister Faye visiting with her over the weekend.
