Enjoying camping at Tonys Lake for a few days during the week were Mr. and Mrs. Milton Bywater and family. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Sorenson and family of Mission. by Flo Munson of son-in-la- daughter Julie Calif. of Concord, houseguests at the Other Logan. Spending Wednesday and Thursday visiting Mrs. Rachel Burton and family were Mrs. Marguerite Burton and family of Bountiful. Attending a rodeo in Preston, Idaho, Thursday evening were Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Mason. Weekend guests of Mrs. Elma Petersen was her grandson Warren Petersen and his friend Dave Alley of Laramie, Wyo. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Wood, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Wilcox and family joined Mr. and Mrs. Byron Wood of Tremonton at the Miller summer home in Bear Lake for a day of water skiing and boating during the Welling home are Mr. and Mrs. Watts and Gordon (Connie) children Brandon, Cami and Troy of Olmsted, Ohio. Gloria Welling and Scott Holmgren of Salt Lake City joined them during the week for a dinner party for Gloria who was ob- her serving birthday an- niversary. Thursday evening Wendell Welling hosted a dinner party at Maddox Ranch house in Perry for his wife who was observing her birthday anniversary. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Gil Walker and family, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Watts and family and Gloria Welling Other visitors at the Welling home during the past week were Mr. and Mrs. Verl Godfrey and daughter Mary and Mr. and Andrew Clark of Mrs. Clarkston. Returning Thursday from a in vacation delightful Yellowstone Park were Mr. and Mrs. Ross Wood. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Jed Allred of Tujunga, Mrs. Adeena Bear of San Pedro and David Wood of Gardena. They also attended the Passion Play in Spear Fish, visited the Black Hills and Mt. Rushmore, S.D. Enroute home they visited Mr. and Mrs. Terry Wood and family in Casper, Wyo. week. Visits at Wilcoxs Lanae of Luodquist Palisades, Idaho is spending a few days visiting Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Wilcox and family. Overnight guests of Mr, and Mrs. Clive Garn and family Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Don Earl of Salt Lake City. Other Sunday visitors at the Garn home were Mr. and Mrs. Burnell Kennington of Twin Falls, Idaho. Alene Mrs. Visiting Sutherland Saturday were her Mr. son and daughter-in-laand Mrs. Kent Sutherland and family of Ogden. ' Attending a Lundberg reunion at Logana in Logan Saturday were Mrs. Velda held Hospitalized Sterling Burton is receiving medical care in the Holy Cross Hospital in Salt Lake City. Thursday Mrs. Althea Wilcox, Mrs. Maurice Wilcox and daughters Diana and Amy Jo were at the airport in Salt Lake City to bid bon voyage to Elder Ron Wilcox (grandson of Althea Wilcox) who left by plane to LDS fulfill a West Virginia-Ohi- o Wood, Mrs. Ann Bingham and daughters Geri Ann, Julie Ann and Camilla. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Wilcox and family, Mrs. Althea Wilcox attended a Wilcox reunion held in Liberty Park in Salt Lake City. They were joined by Mr. and Mrs. Ron Wilcox and daughters Wendy and Renee of Thousand Oaks, Calif, who accompanied them home and are houseguests at the home of Althea Wilcox. Grant Anderson was of the former the father-in-laArlene Potter. Visiting Mrs. Rowane Cannon at the LDS hospital in Logan several times during the past week were her parents Mr. and Mrs. Rosel Zundel. Other visitors were Mrs. Celia Bennett and Mr. and Mrs. Kerry Zundel of Tremonton. Rowane underwent major surgery the forepart of last week. She is reported to be getting along nicely. Returning home Monday after spending several days visiting Mrs. Elaine Stuart in Ogden and Mrs. Edith Grover in North Salt Lake City was Mrs. Lucille Potter. The three ladies are sisters. Mr. and Mrs. Kerry Zundel of Melece and daughter Tremonton were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Rosel Zundel Sunday. Mrs. Dan Kent spent Friday afternoon visiting Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Everton in Logan. An overnight guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Moss Thursday was their daughter Miss Mary Jane Moss of Salt Lake City. Visit New Baby Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Everton and new baby in Logan Saturday evening were Mr. and Mrs. Keith Moss. Saturday overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Smith and family were Mr. and Mrs. Bart Flint of Logan. Spending Saturday visiting Mr. and Mrs. Harvey McCulloch and family in Sunset were Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Garn. Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Askie and their houseguests Mr. and Mrs. Charles Askie of Ithaca, Mich.; Scott, Amy Jo and Robby Askie Page, Ariz. have enjoyed visiting at Bear Lake, Logan Canyon and other points of interest including Thiokol during the week. Dinner was enjoyed followed by games with prizes. Visiting Flo Munson and family Monday were Mina Tegnell of Las Vegas, Nev., Jean Jones and children Craig and of Jacqueline East Garland. Mr. and Mrs. Quentin Hess entertained at a family dinner party at their home Sunday in to their compliment houseguests Mr. and Mrs. Dennis (Judy Hess) Richards and family of Missoula, Mont. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. Michael Perry and children Stephanie and .Mark of Deweyville, David Hess and Mrs. Emily Tolman. Mrs. Tolman is Mrs. Hess mother and will remain for several days. She lives in Tremonton. Tim Hess is vacationing (with rommates from Logan) in Hawaii. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Karl Welling Monday were Mrs. Wellings brother-in-la- and sister Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Davis of Salt Lake City. In the afternoon Mrs. Welling and her houseguests along with Myrle Udy and Mary Udy visited Mrs. Mabel Munns in Garland who was observing her 80th birthday anniversary. Miss Hoggan is the daughter of Mrs. Dorthy Hoggan. She labored in Eagle Butte, South Dakota, Poplar and Lame Deer, Montana during the marjority of her mission. She also worked with the Indian people in the area. the Montana-Wyomin- g She Barbara Hoggan returns home . . . Wafer ballet scheduled for proximately 20 swimmers for ages 10 on up. The ballet is an annual event. The theme for this years presentation is Music is Motion. Robson, 575 East Sixth North, Brigham is learning the fun- damentals of military leadership at Ft. Lewis, Wash. He is attending the advanced ROTC course which began June 14 and will end July 26. During the intensive six-wee- he will of training be confronted with practical exercises that will groom him his duties as a second lieutenant in the army. The encampment also provides an opportunity to practice the theories he learned in the classroom during his past years in the program.
