Show Booklore Club Enjoys Review BOX ELDER JOURNAL, Brigham City, Utah 4 Thursday, March 1, 1973 octal Booklore Club held its February meeting at the home of Irene Hanson. Hilda Anderson introduced her guest, LaPreal Wight, who presented the book review on Masada by Yigael Yadin. The book is the story of a famous archeologist who discovered the secret of an ancient desert fortress where Jewish zealots once defied a mighty Roman army. Church Day of Prayer Box Elder unit of Church Women United will celebrate World Day of Prayer, the international celebration of faith and unity among Christians on Friday, March Community 2, at 7 p.m. at the Presbyterian church. They will join with persons in 168 other countries praying around the theme "Alert in Our Time. Guest speaker for the services will be Superintendent Jerry Jaeger of Intermountain school, who will address his remarks to many facets of Indian life and culture to which the world should be alert. Superintendent is Jaeger from the Ogalala Souix tribe of South Dakota, and came to the Intermountain school position from serving as principal of the high school at Ft. Wingate on the Navajo Reservation. Leads Service Leader in the service will be by Kathy Coffman assisted with readings by Chili Pace, Martha Kennedy, and Jean Bable. Callaway dnd Genie Kirchoff will help with music for the service, and Dee Dolan has prepared a modern floral arrangement to fit the theme. Heading the committee for the annual observance are Frances Jones and Wilma Daniels, assisted by committee members Pauleen Dolling and Genie Kirchoff. Members of the junior high Sandollars youth group will Donna provide ushering services, while Cadette Girl Scouts will provide child care in the nursery for small children. Refreshments and a social time will follow the service, with the women of St. Henrys Catholic church and the Community Presbyterian church joining forces to serve. All persons in the community are invited to attend, with Church Women United stressing that this service is not just for women but has been planned for evening to give families a chance to participate together. She reports that a special three-papresentation is slated for the meeting, including pern formance by a family musical group, the Mugleston family of Salt Lake rt well as on general aspects of family and home life. Last on the program for the afternoon will be an appearance by the Mugleston family of Salt Lake City, a family band that will be remembered for their popular performance at the 1972 Merchants Outing in Brigham City. The girls will be selling in pairs and will be taking orders for the week of March 2 to 10.
