Carol and by Joy Jepperson Thanks List " One thing Bruce and I can add to the thanks list, is that due to Harvey Facer and the town board we finally have a proper drainage facility in front which makes it at least part of the way down the northeast end. There still may be a problem as it does not run all the way to the creek but here is hoping we do not get flooded this year or have stagnate water standing around as it has been in the past two years we have been living here. Graduating Loretta Wyatt is happy for the graduating Blazer boys of which she has been the teacher. A priesthood preview was held for these guys stake wide at the Second ward. A program was under President Lunds authority and a dinner furnished by all the Primary presidents under Jean Packer, Stake primary president made a very special evening. Deon Richards is glad that after a few ups and downs the Relief Scoeity chorus from Mantua finally presented two numbers for the stake meeting which we hope sounded nice. Doing Better Lynn Richards is grateful that his father is doing better after suffering a set back. The Richards visited him Sunday and also were able to visit with Lynns sister and brother-in-laFaye and Clyde Nichols. Ruth Johnson is happy because of all of her fun children who gave her a guess what, a suprise party on Tuesday, Nov. 7. Marva Empey stayed with Ruth until Friday and then Ruth went back with her to Blackfoot where she visited until Tuesday. Gee Ruth that sounds like a mighty fine celebration to me. I stopped pretty Joyce Nelson on her way to Brigham Monday morning, to ask her what she felt thankful for. We had just had a blanket of snow that morning and as she looked around at the snow covered hills she said Well as winter comes I am very thankful for a warm home. All we have to do is turn a dial and we have comfortable surroundings. Nice thought Joyce and one we too often forget. Carl Hansen when asked what she was grateful for said, Gee basketball star at the I'lmdrsity of I tab. to money management specialists, who say you shouldn't spend more than 30 per cent of your aftertax income for housing, including heat, utilities and furnishings. Trina Larsen says she cannot pick out one thing as she is grateful for everyone of her many blessings so it sounds like everybody is in the right frame of mind to usher in the holiday. We will find out what everyone did over the holiday in next weeks column. In closing we would like to announce the marriage of Kathy Sara, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Sara to Paul Hansen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hansen.
