Utah Thursday, November 23, 1972 DUP Officers Meet Boar River Reports The following North Box Elder County DUP officers met at the home of Mrs. Andrea Huggins on Tuesday afternoon for a business meeting; Essie Columns Visitors Of Local News Events Fill tertained Saturday for Mrs. Ruth Munns. A birthday dinner was served and visiting enjoyed. Noia Nessler attended a meeting for the Utah School Food Service association board members held at the Horace Mann school in Salt Lake City on Friday. Richard Merrill and Marieta Holorman from the BYU and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Burr of Brigham City visited Sunday with Mary S. Anderson. The Young Home Makers meeting was held Monday Nov. 13 at the school house. Many by Mr. Irving Chriitsnssn Mr. and Mr. Frank Evan from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho vicited leveral day last week with Rita and Ike Andenon. The Evan were on their way to Yuma, Ariz. to spend the winter. This was their first trip in this area so Rita and Ike took them sight seeing in Cache, Box Elder and Weber counties. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Paskett visited in Henefer with his mother one day last week. Elmo Mr. and Mrs. Christensen were Ogden visitors on Friday. Christmas Distinguished Award distinguished award was presented to Andrea Huggins for her outstanding work in the A Farm bureau. Carrie J. Christensen Bugs Bunny was there and one man came as himself and said he was his favorite person. How about that? There was games, and yummy dancing refreshments served to most of the ward membership. MIA was different Tuesday night. The road show group were honored by the presidency for the outstanding show they presented the week before. There was thank yous praise and good food served to all those who helped in any way. Antone and Lillian Olague are at Twin Falls with their son David and family. Invited for thanksgiving dinner, they will have time to visit family members a few days before returning home for the winter months ahead. Mrs. Bob Christensen, was ordained a deacon. Mr. and Mrs. John Udy visited in Ogden Sunday at the home of her sister Mrs. Mary Nielsen. They enjoyed visiting with other members of the family: Mr. and Mrs.. Marvin Hansen of Pocatello; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Doutre of Tremonton; Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Rose, Malad, and Mr. and Mrs. Clene Thorpe of Roy. They had a lovely dinner in honor of Mary, it was her birthday. Mr. and Mrs. John Udy, Tami and Kevin were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Agricol Monday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Burt and Andrea Huggins attended the Farm Bureau convention in Salt Lake City on Wednesday and Thursday. The visitors were Mrs. Ruby Garrett and Jana Rae Garrett from Brigham Eastern Visitors Phyllip Conklin from Pennsylvania visited with the Allen and John Hardy families for three days last week before entering BYU to study Spanish prior to going to Argentina on an LDS mission.
