Watts Caught right in the middle of Celia is the story brought to us by Ken and Cleanne Barker and daughter Jeanette from Corpus Christ!, Texas., when they visited with Cieannnes parents Mr. and Mrs. Richard Braegger for two weeks. Cleanne and baby daughter Jeanette were evacuated first to a large brick building which wasnt as safe as first thought because its windows gave way. They were later taken to an underground shelter. All water and power was off for quite a long time. They drove home in their car dispite the fact that the windows were gone and the interior pretty well destroyed. Cleannes parents met them in Little America .on their trip to Willard. Returned Home They returned to Corpus Christ! the first of this week after getting word that power and water were restored, the hospital roof was repaired, and their quarters livable. Douglas and Mary Jane Lee are stationed at Del Rio, Texas, just 50 miles from Corpus Christi. They reported winds up to eighty miles an hour there and being evacuated from their trailer, but did not have as much damage as Corpus Christi. Mary Jane is daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Lemon. and Mrs. Mr. Larry Simonsen and family from Philadelphia, Pa. spent three weeks visiting in Willard at the home of Larrys parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jens Simonsen. While here they took some fishing trips and camping trips in the mountains and visited Pioneer Village and Temple Square in Salt Lake the South Box Elder council; and Mary Catherine Wilson, president of the Willard School PTA.
