Layton Stake held their Christmas party for all stake workers, youth leaders, and ward bishoprics at the Davis High School Cafeteria. Rolland Eliason was in charge of arranging the party. A prime rib dinner was prepared and served by members of the 17th Ward. The Laytones of Layton High School furnished a polished musical program. On Dec. 16, the Easy Street birthday club held a party to honor Mrs. Hattie Adams and Mrs. Leo (Artell) Foxley. Mrs. Erma Whitesides hosted the luncheon and program that was held in her home. Christmas music was played on the organ and piano by Ray Whitesides and Mary Brailsford. Twelve ladies attended the party. Thanksgiving day is the birthday of Mr. and Mrs. Wally Nalders newest grandchild. The baby boy is the son of Dick and Katherine Nalder Mouritsen of Kays-villdmg teams, Bountiful, Ben Lomond, Brighton, Cottonwood, East, Granger, Highland, Hillcrest, Judge, Ogden, Skyline, West and an independant team from Salt Lake City. The games are played on either Wednesday Thursday or Saturday, Locations of the games are either at the Bountiful Recreation Center, Hygeia or the Salt Palace.
