The meet took place at three different schools. high Centerville evened its ODell added tersen netted record at two wins and two losses and handed E&M Ford their fifth straight loss in a 2 contest Monday, Dec. 20 at Bountiful High. to Blake Archibald, first place student congress which was held at Jordan High and to Marji Hanson who went undefeated until her final round. She received second place out of 160 other students. Marji and the rest of the individual event participants competed at Bright- on High School. throughout the evening. Val Verda made a second half run at William Green Ltd. but fell short by one point. The debate session with over 160 teams in competition, was held at Hillcrest where Davis took an overall third place sweepstakes. Kyle Bracken and Matthew Eccles received a third place trophy as did Chad Marcusen and Cynthia Sanders. Both teams are novicecross-ex- . K. Wil- son and Bart Uharriet, the senior varsity team also went undefeated, but due to a ballot miscount werent allowed into the final round.. RAY PARRY was the leading scorer with 21 for E&M. Allman & Osborn each added 12, but the balanced scoring of Centervilles team won the game. Craig Drury netted 19 and Ron Johansen chippe din FINAL score Wm. Green 59, Val Verda 58. Randy Moss had 15, Greg Welling 14 and Mike Green 11 for Wm. green Ltd. Val Verda was lead by Larry Saltzgiver and Jay Clarkson with 17 and 16 points 13.
