HE IS just opening practice after serving as chief of ophthalmology at the naval hospital in Bremerton, Wash. Being originally from Davis County, he attended the U of Utah prior to .necical school at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. AFTER graduation from medical school, he did an internship at the Oakland Naval Hospital. He continued there for his specialty training in He also opthalmology. spent three months as a fellow for the international eye foundation in Harar, Ethiopia. Dr. Washburn is the son of DeMonte and LaRue Wash-buof Bountiful. His wife, Lynda is from Salt Lake City. They live in Kaysville with MICHAEL WASHBURN A new ophthalmologist (eye physician and surgeon) in the area is Dr. Michael D. Washburn. The Belle Lettres Club met The Wemel Mill Camp held its annual Christmas meeting and social at the residence of Mrs. Chloe Slade, with Marjorie Green and Roselyn Slade assisting. Layton Police Reports driver for Gate City Steel, Richard Boone of Salt Lake City, last Tuesday reported to Layton Police that a missile struck and broke the windshield of the tractor that he was driving.
