Show Winter Special Olympics Dated Bloomington Ladies Golf A Success Invitational 1 9th in SLC March Saturday, On Feb. 28th and March 1st, the Bloomington Ladies Golf Invitational was held and a The annual Winter Special Olympics sponsored by the Utah Special Olympics will be held in Salt Lke at the University of Utah this Saturday, March 19. The Washington County team, sponsored by the Washington County Assn, for Retarded Citizens, has 25 members w hich is the largest Special Olympics representation south of Provo according to Jim Hilton coach. The events entered in this years Winter Olympics include: Swimming, 25 yd free style, 50 yd free style and the 100 yd relay; and basketball with two teams entered, playing two games of 15 minute quarters and the run drioble and shoot contest. Coaches Jim Hilton, Bruce Bergeson and Paul Elmore feel they have developed some strong teams for the events in the two and one half months of practicing large number of participants played the Bloomington Course.
