Family Portrait will be presented the first week in April in special performances associated with the centennial of the St. George LDS Temple, and in regular performances the following week for season ticket members, students, and the general public. Family Portrait is a conjectural story based on the family of Jesus Christ and the effect of his activites on their lives. The central figure of the Tabernacle Choir. The dinner and dance will be held at the Dixie College Sun Room March 26th. Christs four brothers will be portrayed by Lee Stokes as James, Bret Sevy as Joseph, Robert Roberg as Simon, and David Shipp, a newcomer to Dixie College Theatre, as Judah, the youngest brother. Colleen Rasmussen will portray Mary Cleophas, Marys sister-in-laand Lynda Dunn will appear as Mary Magdalen. Other members of the family will be portrayed by Jody Lyman, Mace Pratt, Paul R. Andersen, and Zola Saunders. The cast, made up of students and several members of the St. George community, also includes Ken Gubler, John Worthington, Yvonne Bullock, Gwen McMullin, Ralph Olkland, Dayna Gentry, Stan Smith, Gary Sanders, Daryl Hollenbeck, Harold Chesler, Brantley Gubler, Jim Shannon, Lois Johnson, Robert Roche, Linda Eisert, Janeen Theobald, and Julie Nielson. The play will be directed by Dr. C. Paul Andersen, with the assistance of Burke Belnap, Designer-TechnicDirector; Olive Esplin, Costume Designer; and Gary Sanders, Assistant e Manager.
