The final draft budget for the 7 fiscal budget year and the draft proposed budget for the 8 fiscal year will be Council comment. for presented members will take comments under advisement and will meet on June 23 at 6:30 p.m. to accept final versions of the budget for adoption. The tentative revised budget and the tentative proposed budget will both need to be adopted at the meeting on June 23 said Nephi Mayor Robert Steele. Mayor Connie Dubinsky presented a map on the Aagard annexation which was approved by the council four years ago. The previous board members failed to sign and record the annexation. She explained that Tbwn Attorney Hatch indicated the annexation must be signed by current board members in the presence of a Notary Public. The annexation was approved by the old board, so a public hearing and motion are not necessary to dear up the mistake explained Mayor Dubinsky. Council member Shepherd questioned why it was not done by the previous council. Mayor Dubinsky indicated that Ludlow Engineering thought they had done the paperwork and the council thought they had done the paperwork, but Ludlows lost the business would involve connecting people who manufacture products such as vegetable oils, cocoas, and herbal capsules with people who need the products. The council discussed an alternate route for extending services to the Brent Taylor and Steve Knickerbocker properties. The Sorbe family is not interested in donating property to allow the road to be straightened and services extended past their property. Council member Robert Shepherd explained that when the Sorbe family decides to develop their property, the cost will be much more than the cost ofthe property involved.
