Winning season for Whitehorse Raiders by Michelle Kalauli It was a David and Goliath affair and the Whitehorse Raiders football team turned out to be the David with a convincing 26-victory over the South Summit Wildcats in a game played at Moab. This was a big win for the Raiders as the Wildcats were ranked fourth in A state foot- - appreciation to the students, staff and the community for their support in making this season a success. This gratitude is also extended to the many friends from other areas who have an interest in the success of Whitehorse High ball. They went up against the Kanab Cowboys at Kanab. Although the Raiders suffered a disappointing 38-- 8 loss, they were honored to play Kanab as they are a quality team state favored to win the Championship. That game ended the Raiders season with an impressive 7- -3 record, making it the first winning season for the Raiders.
