Melba Black, president, Lidell Roberts, vice president, Beth Wright, secretary, and helpers did an excellent job with preparations and deserve a big thank you. Also, a big thanks . of to Pat Howell. Friends of the Finley Bayles family are happy they have moved back to Blanding to make their home. Finley, son of Grant and Josephine Bayles, has been teaching in Washington, Utah, for a number of years. The varsity scouts have been holding fund raising projects to raise money for the Jamboree. Last week they took orders and delivered pizzas. This week they are selling hamburger dinners on June 25 and Saturday, June 26, they will have a car wash from 9 a.m. till 6 p.m. at the church parking lot at $2.50 per Friday, car. The Gary Guymons are happy over the arrival of a baby daughter this past week. Don Zimmerman of Provo is expected here Thursday, Friday and Saturday to hold dance workshops and classes. The morning sessions are for Beehive Girls and Scouts. Afternoon and evening sessions are for persons age 14 and up. Saturday night there will be a dance at South Cultural Hall for members of both Blanding stakes. ma of a grandson born to her daughter, Norma, and husband, Carl Child of Provo. The wee lad, who will be named Tyler James, joins a brother and sister at home. Mr. and Mrs. Roger Williams and family of Salt Lake City were among those attending the ar class reunion of the Class of 62. Mrs. Williams is the former Hazel Grover. About 20 couple attended the Saturday reunion. They enjoyed an afternoon picnic at the Little League ball park with their children. In the evening, class members and spouses enjoyed a steak fry at the beautiful Devils Canyon picnic ground. In charge were: Bishop George Bayles, Naida Lewis Black, Trudy Black, Latham and La Rue Barton. Alice Redd and three children have recently returned from Wyoming where they visited her aged grandmother, two brothers and a sister and their families, Alice enjoyed boating, fishing and a fish fry in addition to visiting family and friends in the home where she was raised. Dan Barfuss and sons, Craig and Chris, were Fathers Day guests at the Doug Galbraiths.
