Monticello found themselves matched against the Beaver Beavers in the first game. The Bucks could not overcome their Jirst game jitters and lost by 12 points, 62 to 50. Jon Smith lead the team in scoring with 16 pointy but sprained his ankle and missed the second game on Saturday evening when the Bucks looked much better in dropping a close game against Milford. 74 to 66. The team showed a good hust- ling offense headed by Rhett and Richie Maughan with 17 and 15 points respectively. Other Bucks in double figures 12 and were Clay Johnston with Mark Paul with 14.
