They won once and were defeated twice, once by one point by the team that went on to become state champions 1- -A the Valley Buffaloes. Bucks won their first game 64-over North Summit. They played well and held the lead for the entire game. One step down the road to a championship, the Buckaroos faced the Valley Buffaloes. They led until the last three minutes of the game when they found themselves behind by five points.
