Redd, a long-tiBlanding resident. Aunt Lydia, as she was lovingly called by everyone, was born May 6th, 1890 at Bluff, Utah into a family of nine children to Hans Joseph Nielson and Ida Evelyn Lyman Nielson. She grew up in Bluff and received her education there in its schools. She attended Brigham Young University at Provo and while there she learned all she could about sewing and the drafting of patterns and became very efficient along this line. Surviving are her sons, Preston, Lyman, Bob and George Redd, and daughters Ida Markham and Louisa Lyman, 16 grandchildren, nine sons-in-la- great-grandchildr- and one en brother, Clisbee Nielson, and thousands of friends.
