Show I toffi UijblKEQ Community Church Combined Next Sunday is Palm Sunday. Attend services at your Community Church. Sunday School is at 9:45 and Morning Worship at 1 1 :00 a. m. There will be an Easter Egg Hunt for the children on Saturday, April 13, at 2 p. m. at the San Juan Community Church. Beginning on Easter Sunday there will be a Nursery Sunday School Class and a nursery provided during the morning Worship. Don't let care for the small children keep you from attending church regularly. This service will be provided every Sunday. A special Sunday School Easter program will be held on Easter Sunday at 7:30 p. m. and everyone is welcome to Services for Good Friday Good Friday is April 12 this year. It commemorates the sacrificial death of Christ on the cross for the sins of mankind. The First Baptist Church, The Assemblies of God Church, and the San Juan Community Church will a Good Friday Service that evening, at 7:30 to be held at the Assemblies of God Church. There will be special music from each church. Pastor Dave Patterson, of the San Juan Community Church, will bring the message. Everyone is welcome and invited co-spon- attend. sor to attend. Relief Society Springfield College The Spiritual living lesson at the First Ward Relief Society will be given by Audrey Thomas. gets grant Evangel College, arts and sciences college of the Assemblies of God in Spring-fiel- d, Mo. , has received an unrestricted grant of $1,500 from Texaco, Inc. In the Second Ward Relief Society Mrs. Dennis Murdock will give the lesson. In both wards it is visiting teachers report meeting. New business beautifies Gly 1 (Left out last week) Going to Phoenix this week is Mr. and Mis. Kent Frost, to show the County film, "Beyond the Rainbow", to the Don's Club. They will also visit her folks, Mr. and Mrs. James Wight, and Kent's mother, Seraphine Frost, in Mesa. On their way home they will strop at Cow Springs, Art, to take a trek on the new road which is under construction from Cow Springs to Page. This trek is being sponsored by the Page Lake Powell Chamber of Commerce. Saturday night they will be guests at the held at Page. Sunday will be spent on the Lake before returning home. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Redd spent last week in Salt Lake City and Logan on business and pleasure. They were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hammond at their cabin at Brighton, where they skied. In Logan, they attended the wedding reception of Mrs. Redd's niece, Corine Hammond, and ; Brent Speth who were married in the Logan Temple.
