Show Carbon County Business Review 14 -- 1995 November 21, 1995 Technological, information revolution With the advent of the computer age and an ever increasing technological and information revolution, the printed word has flourished. The ing effects of all the changtimes are evident at Peczuh Printing Co. In 1962, when Frank Peczuh started the print shop on Main Street in Price locat- ed in one side of Bertots Paint Store, the term "Linotype" meant a machine that formed hot lead into letters used to generate the printed page. Today, the term linotype refers to an imagesetter machine which utilizes a laser to burn a computer generated image onto a piece of film which is the first step in producing a plate for an off- set press. To keep up with all this e chalchange is a lenge, one that the staff at full-tim- Peczuh Printing enjoys bat- tling each day. With the addi- tion of each gigabyte, each flatbed scanner, each power PC, they are constantly striving to keep pace with the ever changing world of printing. But change is not new for the Peczuh Printing ny. They moved into a new building, added new equipment and staff members. It seems the only two constants at Peczuh Printing are change and a desire to deliver a quality product. The varied products and services offered at the local print shop attempt to fill the needs of all who walkthrough the door. The newest service is color copying. The shop now has a Xerox 5765 color copier and reinforces Peczuhs belief that the future is in color. Not only does the new copier provide color, but the design staff and pressroom are also well versed and equipped to provide quality color printing. As the economy throughout Utah expands, Peczuh Printing looks forward to growing with and serving the printing needs of Southeastern Utah. 355 East 100 South (801) Fax (801) 637-025- f i We are proud to announce the addition of to our services. ?.
