The public is invited to attend or to submit written comment. Funding The project will be jointly funded by the State of Utah and the students of the college. The students share of the cost is $3,123,850 and the state share is estimated to be $5,191,650. The college will request funding from the Permanent Community Impact Board for the student share. Purpose of this Hearing The college will present details on the project and the proposed plan for funding. Approvals This project nas received approval and priority approval from the CEU Board ofTrustees, the Utah State Board of Regents and the Utah State Building Board. The college has already received funding from the State of Utah for planning and design. This project has been presented to the SEUAOG and the County Organization of Government. This hearing is to provide for public testimony to be given concerning the granting of a site plan approval to Texaco Exploration and Production, Inc, to install a gathering, production system for the coalbed methane gas well s on Buzzard Bench southwest of Orangeville. The system will include buried gathering pipelines, gaswater sepera-to- r (dehydrator), approximately 700 hp gas compressor and production gas and water pipelines. While there, Emery's state champion parliamentary team competed in the national parliamentary contest. The team did very well in the competition, attaining a gold ranking and being one of the top 12 chapters in the United States. Members of the team are (chairman) Cade Jones, (secretary) Mistie Johansen, and floor members Brady McMullin, Jordan Hansen, Layne Fox, Nolan Gray and Mandy Sitterud as an alternate floor member. Their advisor and team coach is Kirk Johansen from Emery High School. Forty-nin- e other state win- ning teams from all over the nation competed. "It is no small feat to win the state contest and to go on, and win gold on the national level is absolutely terrific," stated Mr. Johansen. Eleven other members of the chapter and seven adults accompanied the team to Kansas City. While there, the members not only had a chance to attend the exciting sessions of the national convention, but also visited the American Royal Stock Show, the Ag Hall of Fame and numerous other historical sites in the Kansas City area.
