Poster contests end water study; student entries now go to state Ferron FERRON Elementary students recently completed water education posters, the last activity in a month of water education. Over the past few weeks students have learned about the water cycle, use and storage of water, water pollution and treatment, and , water conservation. Teachers taught using materials produced by Utah State University and Utah Water Resources. Ferron Elementary purchased the water kit and teaching supplies with a grant from Emery ' bined automotivediesel " technology. The award is given to the student who has the best record of academic achievement, lab performance and attendance, and is a means of encouraging excellence and initiative. Nationally accredited, UTI specializes in the training ,of automotive, u diesel, marine and air conditioning refrigerationheating techni- - County Water Conservancy District. Also funded by the grant cians. Students graduate with the skills necessary for entry into their chosen field of training. The institute has campuses in Phoenix, Houston, Texas, and Glendale Heights, 111. Bradley Ray Cooter Christmas, age 26, died Saturday, Nov. 9, at his home. He was bom March 4, 1965 in Spanish Fork to Ray Williams and Patricia Evans Christmas. He married Anita Shepherd in August 1982. They were later divorced. He received his education in Spanish Fork and Castle Dale schools, graduating from Emery County High. He was a diesel mechanic. He worked for Kerwin-Jense- n Trucking Company and later for Mine Hydraulics. He loved to hunt and fish. Played golf and billiards. He was a member of the LDS Church. Surviving are his parents of Castle Dale; two brothers and one sister, Randy E. Christmas of Huntington; Chad W.
