Show Emery County Progress-Tuesda- y, April 12, 1988, 15A sheriff's A deputy reported an abandoned vehicle in Castle Dale that was causing a traffic hazard. The deputy contacted the responsible party and the vehicle was moved. An Emery resident requested an ambulance for a child with pneumonia. The Emery ambulance was dispatched to the residence and the child was transported to Castleview Hospital. The animal control of ficer reported that there were some stray cows on the roadway. The dispatch contacted the owner of the cattle and the cattle were A deputy responded to a Castle Dale business to check a suspicious vehicle. He talked with the driver and the call was unfounded. Deputies responded to Orangeville to a family fight with possible gunshots fired. An ambulance was paged for female with possible gunshot wound to leg. Male subject was arrested for aggravated assault and booked into the Emery County Detention Center. Deputy assisted a motorist who was out of gas and money and stranded in Green River. Castle Dale woman reported suspicious activity in Orangeville. Deputies responded, but found nothing. Green River deputy responded to an alarm at a local building. The alarm was unfounded.
