Bom February 21, 1896 in Ferron to Parley Pratt and Hanna Marie Hansen Ralphs. Married Ernest Eugene Jensen on April 5, 1916 in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Saints ; he Jesus Christ of Latter-da-y died in 1945. Member of the LDS Church and had served on the stake Relief Society board. She was on the church burial committee where she sewed clothing and dressed the deceased for burial. Was captain of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Served a proselyting mission for the church from 1952 to 1954 in the Northern California Mission. She was active in the Retired Seniors Volunteer and Program had received many awards for her service. Survivors include: two sons, two daughters, Ernest Ralph Jensen, and Elaine Jensen, both of Castle Dale; Don'Y. Interment was in the Castle Dale Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary. A. Dick Mckee Mortensen EMERY Eldred LaFont Mortensen, age 75, died Saturday, April 9, 1988 in the Castleview Hospital in Price. He was bom July 16, 1912 in Cleveland, the son of Hans Fredrick and Ida Olive Knight Mortensen. He married Mabel Anderson on July 10, 1936 in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints. She died June 8, 1984. He had served as bishop of the Emery Ward and held many various positions in the church throughout his life. He was the owner and operator of Eldreds Groceries in Emery for over 50 years. Served on the Emery County School Board, the Emery Town Council, the Board of Directors of the Emery County Farmers Union Telephone Association, the Board of Directors of the Emery County Nursing Home and he and his wife were named Outstanding Citizens of Emery. Survivors include: three sons, two Stuart L., Orange, daughters; Calif.; Kendall A., Huntington; Mrs. George C. (Kaye) Peacock, Sandy; E.
