There will be two addenda on this project, and the bid date is changed to October 26, 2004. Bids will be accepted until but no later than 2 p.m. on that date. Obituaries Service will be Oct. 23 for Edwina VanDeventer Edwina Louise VanDeventer passed away October 16, 2004, at her Moab, Utah home after a slow and progressive decline due to Alzheimers Disease. She died peacefully, embraced in the love of her family and friends, and supported by Grand County Hospice. Edwina was bom November 16, 1914 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Frederick and Catherine Jones Pomeroy. She studied history and business in college in St. Joseph. She married Frank VanDeventer October 1, 1939 and a few years later moved to Casper, Wyoming where they raised their family of three daughters. Edwina was an active member of St. Marks Episcopal Church in Casper, and treasured her as time directress of the Altar Guild. She was an accomplished seamstress and belonged to a sewing club composed of many g friends. She also loved making crafts and crocheting items for church and Shrine bazaars. Edwina was a member of Order of the Eastern Star and Zilah Club, and she served as a Girl Scout life-lon- leader. Most importantly, her greatest love was her family, caring for her daughters and her granddaughter Marti, and being a constant support for her husband as he built his western clothing business, Corral West Ranchwear. After the death of her husband in 2000, her family moved Edwina to Moab. She lived the last four years of her life in the loving home of her daughter Kathy and her Jim Kempa. With the invaluable care of her daughter, Dyann, who traveled each month to Moab from Casper, emotional the support of her daughter Cindy and granddaughter Marti, and the daily loving aid of her two primary homehealth caregivers, Tanya Relitz and Elaine Boyer, the family assisted little Mama through her last years. Despite Alzheimers Disease, Edwina lived a joyful ministry in her late life, always with brightness in her eyes and a smile on her face for her family, the many loving, caring people of Moab and the community of friends at the Dream Keeper Inn, owned by Jim and Kathy. Edwina enjoyed attending St. Francis Episcopal Church in Moab, son-in-la- w Southern Utah National Guard Unit gains company status The Utah National Guard has announced the activation of D Company, 141st Military Intelligence Battalion (Linguist), 300 Military Intelligence Brigade, the Utah Na- tional Guards newest line company. A ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the activation of the new company - as well as the dedication of the Military and was warmly embraced by the clergy and members of its congregation. Edwina was preceded in death by Frank, her husband of 60 years, and her parents, sister Mabel and niece Mary Kay. She is survived by her daughter Dyann and husband Tom Durst .of Casper, daughter Kathy and husband Jim Kempa of Moab, daughter Cindy VanDeventer of Houston, and granddaughter Marti Adams of Malibu, California. Services will be held in Moab on Saturday, October 23 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis Episcopal Church, 250 Kane Creek Boulevard, with a reception to follow in the church 5hsigm, Jlathy, parish hall. A public graveside service will be held at Highland Cemetery in Casper on Monday, October 25 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a noon reception at St. Stephens Episcopal Church, 4700 South Poplar.
