This information was then used to compare the flow of water to how fast they walked, ran, and jumped from bank to bank. Using field guides and plenty of input from enthusiastic instructors, students studied a variety of natural plant and soil life of the area. To make it clearer, students learned the nature of plant life and how native people used it for survival, as well as the current uses today.
