Show Air Force announces Savings B ond campaign RANDOLPH AIR FORCE BASE, Texas The Air Force will conduct (AFPN) its annual Savings Bonds campaign June The theme of the campaign is 'Take Stock in America U.S. Savings Bonds." There are two campaign goals. The first is to enroll 5 percent of the military and civilian service population as new participants. The second is to have 10 percent of current bond buy ers increase their existing allotments (basd 0. on the number of bond buyers at the beginning of the 1999 campaign) . The 1999 Air Force Savings Bond campaign will sell only Series EE U.S. Savings Bonds through the Payroll Deduction Series I Bond Plan. The new fixed-rat- e will not be sold within the Department of Defense during thiscampaign. Although they will be available for campaigns in the civilian community, the Defense Finance and Accounting Service is not yet ready to process I Bonds allotments. The official allotment authorization form for both civilian and military perForm SB sonnel is the salmon-colore- d 2104 or SBD 2104. An allotment schedule is listed on each of the forms. Counselors are standing by to take calls during normal duty hours from 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., CDT.
