Show November Wednesday. Letters to Editor Herald: sign tied with strong ropes to our lamp post. Whet we returned from a weekend trip the sign was missing and the post damaged. We have spoken to many people who had the same thing happen on their property. Please, persons who are doing this, allow us to have our own personal political preferences and let us express our views Let the candidates have a fair campaign It costs enough to run a campaign without this kind of thing Ken Pinegar is very much interested in being elected county commissioner and 1 hope the voters of Utah County w ill realize what a good honest man he is and elect him for another four years The Wayr Editor Herald: There seens to be a great deal of controversy over the proposal concerning the building of a new library as there should be. I have noticed in The Daily Herald at least two articles which maintain that the existing building was first built in Chnstensen Family Spanish Fork II U-f- V ml " IS 113 I IP STARTS TQSiY! If we had more say we would probably like to see our tax money go for such things as libraries, but as it is, I think it is imperative that we let our public officials know we are sincere when we complain of liigh taxes. Will they believe us if we vote to increase our taxes even though the cause is worthy? I feel we must try to get our tries-sag-e across as we sadly vote "no" for a new library. A completely new building was built in 1938 so that the present building is some 40 years old. It could well be that the present building could be enlarged by adding another floor, which could be done without disturbing any of the preint space, as the stairway could easily fit into the existing foyer Besides. I have never yet been in the library when more than half of the seating space has been filled. Karl Y. Newren 780 W. 50C N.. Provo FIRST RUN! "S THE HERALD, Provo.
