Rampton Says Nixon Should Resign SALT LAKE CITY (UPI) -Gov. Calvin L. Rampton says President Nixon must resign "for the good of this country . " The chairman of the National Governors Conference told newsmen Tuesday that even if the President should survive an impeachment trial in the Senate, "Nixon could never be rehabilitated enough to run this government. "We are beyond the point where there is any alternative to the resignation of the PresiDemdent," said the three-terocrat. "The good of the country for the next two years demands another President." Rampton said until Monday he thought Congress should proceed with an orderly impeachment to determine if the President had committed an offense that warranted his removal from office. But the governor said the question is now moot, since the President has admitted his guilt to serious obstruction of justice which could become pattern for future presidents if not checked. He also said the President would be a lame duck for the remainder of his term even if the Senate failed to convict. "For more than a year now I have had to deal with a federal government where the decision making power has been virtually paralyzed. That cannot continue for another two years," Rampton said. m ANGELUS THEATRE Spanish Fork Open Nightly 8:00 p.m. OPEN SHOW Spnngvillt HELD OVER! 2nd 8:30 9:10 C.I.A. wlcLU0n DONALD SUTHERLAND net v mmunity committee which said the campus does not need to build any more housing for single students. OGDEN ( UPI ) -- Even though Second District Court Judge John Walquist moved the murder trials of two airmen from here to Farmington, he still will be the i judge when the Shop case goes to court. Tuesday he attempted to set trial dates for William A. Andrews, 19, and Dale S. Pierre, 21, but a conflict of schedules for one of the defense attorneys left the date up in the air. Wahlquist had said he wanted to set the trial for Aug. 26, but attorney Gilbert D. Athay, representing Pierre, had another case set the same day. The judge told Athay to notify the court clerk when he would be available. Monday, after vyahlquist listened to more than two hours of testimony from a Weber State College sociologist, the judge ordered the trials moved to Davis County. Dr. Jerry H.
