Raymond H. Clayton of the temple presidency officiated at the solemn rites in the presence of relatives, close friends and parents of couple. The petite and beautiful bride, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. LeRoy Thorne of Pleasant Grove, is a recent graduate of the Brig-haHer Young University. benedict is the son of Alex Josie and the late Mrs. Josie of Orem, and has attended the BYU. The billowing charm of her gown was enhanced by her bridal cloche, fashioned of high luster pearls dipping low over her temples to frame her face, and releasing her veil of imported silk illusion. She carried a cascade bouquet of American Beauty roses and stephanotis. Charlyn Thorne, attended her sister as maid of honor wearing a pink embossed nylon embroidered gown and another sister, Mrs. Robert Halstrom, as served matron of honor in a pale blue Tace. Bridesmaids were Jewel Olpin in sea green; Geniel Simper in beige; Renae Jensen, sunshine yellow and Arlene Jorgen-seCarol Rassmussen, and Rosalie Josie, the groom's sister, were attired in dresses in blue shades. Vivian Anderson, Neb Miller Exchange Wedding Promises The bride wore a gown with frosted white French organdy over pleated tulle full skirtr and pleated tulle bodice with cowl neckline and short sleeves. She bad organdy bridal gloves, and carried a bouquet of white roses and lily of the valley with blue streamers. An empire tiara was attached to- a fingertip illusion veil. Attending the bride in bouffant dresses of robin blue draped with white chiffon cumberbunds were Mrs. Bill Axelgard, Mrs. Bill J. Anderson, Kathleen Anderson and Rita Ann Liddiard. Flower girls were Julie Anderson ond Pamela Bush. All carried white baskets filled with shasta daisies. Mrs. Anderson wore a gown with soft floral tones of blue and green on white, and Mrs. Miller chose a salmon pink dress trimmed with white lace. Their corsages were of white carnations. Russell Jones was best man, and Roy and Mike Anderson The West Utah LDS Stake House was the scene recently of the marriage of Vivian Theo Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard M. Anderson, and Neb Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Fenton Miller, all of Provo. Bishop Ralph Fletcher performed the marriage May 31. Presiding over the guest book was Mrs. Ronald Hyde, and greeting guests as they arrived in the bridal garden setting were Mr. and Mrs. Burton Frampton, Mr. and Mrs. Ford West, Ann Matthews and Trimble. During the receiving hours music background numbers were provided by LaRee Radmall, Rosalie Richards, Colleen Mar-rot- t, Winona Kirk, and Jennie Gleason. Guests were served refreshments by Mrs. Howard Matthews as hostess assisted by Marcia Ann Chipman, Carol Jacqueline Fraughton, Nola Ash, and Janice Ataamson. The lovely gift display ushered. Decorations about the room included a basket of white glads trimmed in blue, baskets of mixed spring f lowers and white and blue candelabra. Julia Morris played the organ for the wedding ceremony. Bill Anderson was master of ceremonies at a program featuring a song by Rita Liddiard, Arlene Harding and Ruth Paramore; toasts by Mrs. Gerald D. Stone and Richard Miller; dance by Brenda and Jackie Booth; song by . Bill, Roy and Mike Anderson and remarks by Bishop Gerald D. Stone. Mrs. Joseph McGregor supervised the serving. Girls assisting her were Jean Clark, Al Jean McGregor, Marian Peterson and Bonnie Hoover. In the gift room were Mrs. Robert Beardall, Mrs. George Cloward, Mrs. Al Lee, Mrs. Bud Harris, Mrs. Dwight Kuykendall, Mrs. Richard Miller and Mrs. Wendell Hoover. Friends and relatives of the happy pair attended a reception held in the Vineyard LDS Ward Hall Monday evening, June 3. The bride was radiant in a gown of white rose-poilace and tulle over white satin designed with a duchess bodice, pointed sleeves, and a sweeping train. She wore a satin and lace embroidered tiara with a net veil, and carried a bridal bouquet of lilies of the valley and sweetheart roses centered with a white cateleya orchid. Pastel sheath gowns were worn by the charming bridesmaids, Mary Waters, Marjean Wood, Judy Hundley and Irene Baylor. The maid of honor, Diane Freshwater of Las Vegas, wore a frock of blue taffeta. Each attendant carried a bouquet of roses in colors complimentary to her dress. The groom was accompanied by his best man, Paul Roundy. His friends, Marvin Slater, Acell Bouwn, and Ronald Clegg served as ushers. The refreshments and decorations at the reception were all keyed to the delectable rose and white color scheme. Mrs. Thayola Tucker was the vocalist. She was accompanied by her son Terry. Marie Ridge and Floyd Johnson gave toasts to the bride and the SOMETHING OLD, SOMETHING NEW SOMETHING BORROWED . . . AND SOMETHING J r A was arranged by several friends and relatives of the couple. The newlyweds are now honeymooning at Lake Tahoe and the new Mrs. Josie donned a white knit suit for traveling.
