Ballard Washburn, son of Mrs. Wasel Washbunn, all of June Provo. Robert, whose wife is the former Jannette Callister of Spanish Fork, graduated from BYU with a bachelor of science in chem istry. He was president of the senior class at medical school and will enter the Air Force in July. He will intern at Lackland Air Force Base Hospital in San Antonio, Tex., and then serve two years in the Air Force. He served as vice president of his Sophomore class and is married to the former Barbara Harries of Now of medical members from Benjamin, Lake Shore, Palmyra and Leland met at the Benjamin Church this week to participate in a judging contest. The purpose of this meeting was to help the leaders, members and mothers learn some of the methods the club members use in doing their project work, and to show good standards which the club members should try to achieve in their project activity this year. Those girls attending from Leland were, Judy Finch, Ruth ' Ann Creer, Karen Thomas, Susan Atwood, Jolene Stoker, Maureen Thomas, Helen Atwood and Joyce Ann Creer. Mothers who also participated were Ann Finch, Irene Thomas, Phyllis Creer, Nyda Thomas and Mae Atwood. The group was shown several films depicting the proper posture. Phoenix, Ariz.
