He was in born Highland on 2, February she took her first trip away from home to Salt Lake City, where she first met Zaner at the old Forest Dale Ward. They moved back into the Ross family home in 1957 and spent the rest of their 51 years together there. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served in the Sunday School and Primary, and as a Cub Scout leader for more than 15 years. Cub Scouts was the love of her life and the memories of her boys were very important to her in later years. She was always happiest serving others. Even after she was stricken with rheumatoid arthritis and became mostly home-bounshe influenced many people. There was always someone coming in to "visit" and they always went away uplifted. members family Surviving include her husband; two daughters and two sons: Mrs. David (Carolyn) Bird, Taylorsville; Terry Z. Ross; Mrs. Richard (Brenda) Hinckley; Neil A. Ross, all of Salt Lake City. Of 10 children in her family, she is survived by two brothers and one sister: Leroy Terry, Layton; William A. Terry, (Lucile) Provo; Mrs. William Wright, Kearns. Gratitude is given for the many friends and family who helped to make this a wonderful life. Ross 1997. i - Salt Lake City by the Temple President, Joseph Fielding Smith. She was born and raised in Alpine and was the fifth child of 10 and the first of two girls. Her father passed away when she was and everyone had to work to help support the family. She helped make 14 loaves of bread every morning (except Sunday) and churned the cream into butter, which they exchanged for flour or sugar or other needed items. She picked many fruits each summer, raspberries being the most difficult, but the one she had the most stories and memories about. She went to grade school in Alpine and then graduated from American Fork High School and LDS Seminary in 1940. When she 1926 to Hugo Julius and Marie Ruderisch Reimschiissel. He was married and sealed to his sweetheart, Vivian Green, June 24, 1953 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was raised and educated in American Fork. He was his High School Class President, FFA President and Award Young Farmer of the Year. He attended Brigham Young University and Utah County Technical College. He served two missions, the first in the East German Mission in the second in the Leipzig German Mission with his beloved spouse, Vivian, in 1996-199- d, 1950-195- He served as bishop of the American Fork 2nd Ward for six years and had various other LDS Church callings: Scoutmaster, Priest Advisor, High Priest Group Leader, home teacher, branch president and most recently was called as ward mission leader. He worked for the U.S. Soil Conservation. He was a Utah County dairy farmer for 43 years, 27 in American Fork and 16 in Benjamin. He was honest and kind to everyone, loved people, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his spouse, Vivian Green Reimschiissel, Benjamin; children: James and Single Family Lots & Homes Luxurious Ticin Homes A Planned Unit Development 1100 North 1190 E:ist American Fork. Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Fritz and George Reimschiissel (surviving spouse Eileen ShurtlifD, one sister: Hanna R. Hill. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 25 in the Benjamin 1st Ward, 3238 W. 7300 South, Benjamin. He then attended Utah State University, leaving school during World War II to help his father on the farm. With his father, and uncle Stan Patten, Tim worked the Ekins Family orchards and fruit packing company in Provo. Later Tim and his father farmed in the Manila area north of where Tim Pleasant Grove, resided until the time of this death. Along with his father, Tim also raised cattle and appaloosa horses. For seventeen years, Tim, known as "Stan," worked by for the Forest Service. Tim was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Da- y Saints and was a longtime member of the Manila Stake. He particularly enjoyed his calling Stanford Ray "Tim" Ekins, 73, of Pleasant Grove, passed away early Monday morning, April 21, 1997. Lincoln Just as had he he wished, died peacefully at home, in the arms of his dear wife, Evetta. Tim had been surrounded by his family, and had enjoyed visiting with many friends over the past week. Tim was born July 30, 1923 to A. Ray and Diantha Patten Ekins in Provo at the site of the present day BYU Cougar stadium. He attended Page school in Provo, and graduated from Orem's as Assistant Stake Historian. From his home overlooking the Timpanogos Temple, Tim was thrilled to watch the construction which took place below his favorite peak, Mount Timpanogos. Tim was a cowboy who always wished he had been born 100 years earlier. a horsedrawn Accordingly, hearse will bear his remains from the Olpin Family Mortuary in Pleasant Grove to the old Manila Chapel. In August of 1973 Tim married Evetta Jenkins to whom he was sealed in the Salt Lake Temple in 1974. He is survived by his wife of Pleasant Grove and five sons and two daughters: Norm (Marianne) Ekins; Dee (Karen) Ekins; John (Jana) Ekins; and Dallin (Dena) :",'! & Ekins; (Leanne) Elbridge Coochise; Sande (Cesar) Montano; and Cheryl (Jacob) Boone; 23 grandchildren and 6 great grand- children. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the Old Manila Chapel, 3986 West 8800 North, Pleasant Grove. Friends may call Wednesday evening from p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 500 S. 300 East, Pleasant Grove and at the church on Thursday from The horsedrawn procession will take place Thursday morning at Olpin Family Mortuary at 8:30 a.m. and proceed from there to the old Manila Chapel.
