Dick, the son of Alex and Louise Christofferson, worked at Geneva Steel for 42 years. He also served in the Merchant Marines during World War II, as well as the National Guard. He was a member of the Lehi Jaycees and the Hutchings Museum Board. He has served twice as a stake mission president, on the High Council, in the Scouting organization and the choir and has taught Sunday School- and Priesthood quorums. Dick enjoys gardening and collecting antiques. Jean, the daughter of Glen and Melba Clark, served as PTA president, and in all of the auxiliaries of the LDS church Primary, Sunday School, Relief Society and Mutual. She is a homemaker and enjoys I' 1 i Richard "Dick" and Jean C. Christofferson were honored by their children on the occasion of their fiftieth wedding anniversary. The couple was married April 16, 1947 in the Salt Lake LDS - V - VI ' Ov i-- l Kody Woffinden, Teresa Johnson Steven Layton, Joy Fellingham Joy Fellingham to recite Teresa L. Johnson to be wedding vows Saturday wed to Kody J. Woffinden Joy K. Fellingham and Steven W. Layton will marry in the Jordan River LDS Temple on Saturday, April 26. is the daughter The bride-to-b- e of Dr. and Mrs. Gilbert W. Fellingham of Lehi. The prospective groom is the son of Jan L. Ackerman of Blythe, Calif. A reception will honor them that same evening from 6:30 to 8:30 at the Fellingham home, 10998 W. 7600 North, Lehi. Earth Week activities slated In celebration of Earth Week, the Utah Habitat Council will sponsor a habitat workshop at the Utah State Fairpark Wildlife Exhibit Building, April 25 and 26. This event focuses on providing information to groups, adopting waterways, and providing these parties, known as "Stream Teams," instructions, regarding how they can better care for Utah's precious aquatic resources.
