This week they go outside the region for four matches. In league play the Pioneer netters lost a heartbreaker with the Miners sweeping the three singles while Lehi won the two doubles matches. Bryon Glathar and Tyler Hobbs 1 proved their worth with a win over the Park City duo of Griffin Schaffer and Jason Winzeler at first doubles. Brett Francom and Judd Peck remained 6-- 6-- dominant at second doubles with a 0 spanking of Miners Zach Smail and Jason Smith. Garrett Soelberg challenged defending state champion Jon 6--2 Birch, but lost with three service breaks. Tyler Peck at second singles dropped a 6-2 decision to Matt Pace. Alan Wood, playing third singles for the Pioneers, saw his 4 tiebreaker lead in the third set disappear as Jesse Erwin came back to win 6-(8-3 in a darkness-shortened match.
