(13) Project No. STP-LC4- 9 The Utah Department of herewith Transportation advises all interested persons or groups of a prowhich posed project includes the closure of 10 railroad crossings and the upgrading of 21 railroad crossings on the Provo Branch of the Union Pacific Railroad between Springville and Santaquin in Utah County. This proposal covers all railroad crossings on this section of the Provo Branch. The project does not require the relocation of any residences or businesses. The governing officials of Utah County and Springville, Spanish Fork, Payson and Santaquin are aware of this project. The public is herewith advised that an Open Forum Public Hearing conducted by the Utah Department of Transportation to discuss Environmental the Assessment prepared for this project and the location and design features of the proposed improvements will be held on Thursday, Aug. 15, 1996 any time between the hours of 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. in the Payson City Council Chambers, 439 W. Utah Avenue. Payson, Utah. At this time the public will have an opportunity to see an overview of the project considerations and will be able to consult project experts in an open house type environment. Information to be presented will include a discussion of the location and design alternatives considered. Appropriate illustrative materials will be available for inspection. Provisions have been made to receive written or oral testimony pertaining to the proposal or lo its social, economic and environmental effects from all interested persons or groups. Such testimony will be published in the official transcript. Any person or group unable to attend the public hearing, but wishing to give testimony pertinent to the aforementioned project, may do so in writing This testimony should be directed to the Utah Transportation E.
