A successful "Back to .School" promotion was sponsored by the chamber. The Chamber donated prizes to the Community Carnival. The members put in a lot of time and hard work in securing the Pyke Mfg. Their calendar consists of a full report on communism, education and mental health. Also included are the school play, fashion show, opera, readings and parties. The club project will be developed in the future. We try to help the community whenever a club is needed. Every year our club has done their part on the Communiy Carnival. We have sold tickets for the museum banquet this year, and also assisted in the marching mothers drive against polio and crippling diseases. A Firm Purpose for Improvement The main purpose of the Leity Club is to create within each member a desire to become a bet ter person by learning new things and by helping with any worthwhile project when one is presented. Although only in its first year, the Chamber members feel it has been a very succssful yar in spite of many problems. The majority of the business houses in Lehi are members as well as a good number of individuals.
