After her stay with the Wards she visited Mr. and Mrs. Smith Ward and family of Salt Lake City and also spent some time with Mr. and Mrs. Lee Churchill of Orem. Mr. and Mrs. Max Ward, their daughter, Patti, and Kelly Walker enjoyed a trip Saturday and Sunday to Vernal, Utah. Louis Douglas was bitten on the back of the neck by a poisonous insect Saturday and that evening he became quite ill. Sunday he was much worse and was taken to the Tremonton Hospital. Monday his condition became almost critical. Then later it began to improve, much to the relief of his family. He is home now and feeling much better. The Orland Hesses and their son, Terry, and family spent several days last week up at Lava. Visiting with the Orland Hesses this past week were their grandchildren, Nathan and Jill Taylor of Ogden. Blodwin Sorensen celebrated her birthday last Tuesday. Blodwin says it was one of the nicest birthdays she has ever had. Fifteen of her grandchildren attended a session in the Temple with her for the occasion. Weekend visitors at the Ray Sorensens were Mr. and Mrs. Tom Gabovich and baby, Rexburg, Ida. and Mr. and Mrs. John Nielson and daughter of Logan, Mr. and Mrs. Jerald Munk and their son, Evan, were here Sunday visiting with the Mariner Munks.
