Rudd of Fielding announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, JoLene to David W. Nielson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Nielson of Tre-monto-n. The marriage will take place September 10 in the Salt Lake Temple. A reception honoring the newly weds will be held that evening at the Garland Stake Center from p.m. All friends and relatives of the couple are cordially invited to attend the reception. The I - I The Salt Lake Temple was the scene for the wedding of Miss Susan Haycock, daugh- JoLene is a 1975 graduate of Bear River High School and four-yeseminary. She has attended Utah State University for the past two years and is currently employed at Thiokol. David is a 1973 graduate of Bear River High and four-yeseminary. He fulfilled a mission for the LDS church in the Washington-Seattl- e mission and is also employed currently at Thiokol. ar I t M I ? ar After a honeymoon the couple will make their home in Fielding. Chosen :f -- J Nuptial V Connie Jo Harris will become the bride of Ralph Kent Hansen in an August 27 nuptial ceremony in Rupert. Idaho. Miss Harris is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Danny Harris of Heyburn, Idaho. Mr. Hansen is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dwight E. Hansen of Fielding. A reception honoring the couple will be held the evening of the wedding, August 27, at 7 p.m. in Rupert. Idaho. An open house will further honor them on September 3 at the Fielding Ward Cultural Hall from 7:30-- 9 p.m. has been circled as the date when their marriage will be solem- nized , in the Salt Lake Temple. Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast will be held at the Red Flame Restaurant in Bountiful, hosted by the groom's parents for members of the bridal party. That evening the young couple will greet guests at a reception hosted by the bride's parents held at the Haines House in Ogden between the hours of 7 to 9 p.m. The bride-eleis a graduate of Bonneville High School and LDS Seminary. The prospective groom is a graduate of Bear River High School and LDS Seminary. He has attended Weber State College. Mrs. Jensen was born in in Wanette, Okla. a t 1897 daughter of Barbara Ann and James Couch. The Couch family lived in Colorado and Washington before coming to Utah. Eunice married Chris in Beaver Dam and they celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary last Christmas eve. The Jensens have two sons, Delbert in Roy and Glen in Ogden. They have two grandsons, one granddaughter and one great granddaughter. The Jensens have spent many of their winters in Arizona and are noted for the abundant garden they raise each year and an outstanding rock collection. They are enthusiastic "rock hounds" and have searched many states for their collection. Mike Taylor greeted the guests and presented them to the receiving line, with Lloyd Haycock, brother the bride, and Richard Andrews, brother of the groom, ushering. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Fillmore were host and hostess for the reception. Presiding at the guest register was Deone March. The lovely buffet table was centered with a cherub of yellow roses and white daisies. Presiding at the table were Connie Thatcher and Barbara Bitner. Attending at the buffet were Jeanette Morris, Becky Austin, Sharolyn Bywater and Margo Rigby. of Several bridal showers were given prior to the wedding. Members of Chi Omega House at Utah State University gave a kitchen shower for Susan. Hostesses were Linda Bywater, Janine Oyler and Holly Seeholtzer. Mrs. Marj-ori- e Jorgenson and Janine Oyler presided at a luncheon and Mrs. Keith Fillmore and Kim Thomsa, Deone Marsh, Myrna Kent and Diane Christensen gave a miscellaneous shower for her at the Fillmore home. A canyon cook-ou- t was given by Madeline McBride which featured a grocery shower for the couple. The mother of the groom also held a bridal tea for Susan prior to the Salt Lake City. I 2 ) Sept.
