Surviving are parents, two brothers and two sisters: Debra, Natalie, Michael and Curt Nielsen, all of Ogden. Grandparents mm LoQoy Oylor LeRoy Oyler, Jr., 55, of North Salt Lake, formerly of East Garland, Preston, Idaho and Spanish Fork, died Sunday at his home of a hemorrhage. He was born March 26, 1922, in Tremonton, a son of Roy and Leah Rogers Oyler. He was reared and educated in the Bear River Valley. He was a WW II Army veteran. He had worked as an auctioneer and a Utah State Brand Inspector. He married Donna Allen, April 20, 1944, in Tremonton. Their marriage was solemnized October 19, 1966, in the Logan LDS Temple. He was a member of the Preston Elks Club and the Spanish Fork Lions Club. He was an elder in the LDS Church. Surviving is his widow of North Salt Lake, three sons, Allen Oyler, Salt Lake City; David Oyler, Spanish Fork and Kenneth Oyler, serving in the U. S. Army in West Germany, and seven grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother and three sisters, Roger Oyler, Mrs. Jasper (Donna) Shaffer and Mrs. Leon (Erma) Andersen, all of East Garland; Mrs. Lyle (Helen) Johnson, North Salt Lake. Funeral services will be ORducted Thursday, August 1977 (today) at 1 p.m. in East Garland LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at Rogers Mortuary from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to the funeral. Burial will be in the East Garland Cemetery. S FRESH MILD John Honry Smith CHEDDAR John Henry Smith, 73, of Mesa, Arizona, died Tuesday, August 16, 1977, of heart failure.. He was born May 25, 1904, in Vancouver, British Col- H0RMELL a son of umbia, Canada, William Christopher and Kathleen Avison Smith. He was married to Blanche Ann Manning, formerly of Tremonton, Utah, on June 24, 1929, in Vancouver. He was a member of the Consolation Masonic Lodge No. 266, Seattle, Wash. Mr. Rasmussen was born Jan. 23, 1891, in Bear River City, Utah, a son of Niels Peder and Marie Magdelene Henriksen Rasmussen. He was married to Olga Molinda Charlson on Feb. 6, 1918, in Salt Lake City. The marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on May 25, 1923. She died Sept. 29, 1973. He was married to Connie Jensen Giles on Jan. 28, 1975, in the Ogden LDS Temple. He was a retired dairy and crop farmer, and had lived in Sublett, Idaho, and Bear River City. He moved to Corinne in 1939 and to Tremonton in 1975. He was a member of the Tremonton 3rd LDS Ward. He was a high priest, home teacher, and served on the old folks committee in the Corinne Ward. SLICED RACON Burley, Idaho; Adolph Rasmussen, Corinne; Weldon Gerald Robert Hess, 62, of Garland, died August 17, 1977, of cancer in the Bear River Valley Hospital. He was born Nov. 19, 1914, in Plymouth, Utah, the son of Ervin and Zella Nish Hess. He was reared and educated in the Bear River Valley. He married Florence Bow-cu- tt April 1, 1940 in Brigham City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple May 18, 1951. He was a member of the Garland volunteer fire department for 20 years, a heavy equipment operator . for the Utah State Road Commission for the past 12 years. He was an elder in the Garland Second LDS Ward, served as a home teacher and YMMIA secretary. Surviving are his widow of Garland, 2 sons and 3 daughters: Robert B. Hess, Tremonton; Mrs. Gary (Lee) Hess and Mrs. Harold (Karen) Luckey, both of Garland; Mrs. Burdell (Gloria) Wakefield and Mrs. Dolfo (Shirley) Baltizar, both of Ogden. 2 Fourteen grandchildren, great grandchildren. His father of Plymouth, five brothers and two sisters: Orlin E. Hess, Long Beach, Calif.; LaMar N., Jay L. Hess and DeVere N. Hess, all of Plymouth; Cleon N.
