Mr. and Mrs. Ned Baads-gaar- d spent the weekend and the 25th in Salt Lake visiting Mr. Baadsgaard's brothers, Gene, Ray and families, while there they attended the days of '47 parade and rodeo. Weekend visitors at the Willard Call home were Mr. and Mrs. Don Lee Rogers, Mr. Call's grandson of BYU. Monday Mr. and Mrs. Call, Mr. and Mrs. Rogers and Ella Steward of Clarkston enjoyed dinner in Preston. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Gardner and family spent Saturday at the home of Mrs. Thomas Harper. Mrs. Don Jensen just returned home from a weeks visit with her daughter, Mar-len- e and Ted Ramsdell of Blackfoot, Idaho. e Monday evening Mrs. and children had Worley family home evening with Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Dalton. Sunday Linda Davis and children, Jodi, Staci and Tif-favisited the Dalton's. Wednesday visitor at the Wayne Dalton home was Lorrin Bingham. La-ra- ni Soren-so- returned grandson, Blair, to parents, Mr. and Mrs. Max Flinders. Blair had stayed with the Timothy's for a week while his brother Blair n. Mr. and Mrs. Devern Steed of Nevada are house guests of Mr. and Mrs. Vera Steed. Mr. and Mrs. Glade Timothy traveled to Salt Lake on business. While there they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Timothy and their new baby. On the way home they stopped in Ogden and Mrs. Theodore Astle visited with her sister, Olive Hume of Brigham and her niece and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Latin and daughter, Kristin of Las Vegas, Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carlas Astle. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Brown were visited by Mr. and Mrs. Bengt Jonsson and they enjoyed dinner together Saturday night. Sunday they were visited by Mr. and Mrs. David Latin, their granddaughter and husband, who spent the afternoon and then returned Monday to spend the day. Also Monday the Brown's were visited by Henry's sister and husband, r, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin another granddaughter s, back-packe- By Essie Peterson The families of the late Fred and Bernice Peterson met Saturday at the old family home, now Jerry's, for a get together on the lawn. Most of the family members participated in the cookout. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Eph Peterson were treated to a gathering of the family members of the Maurice Cole family. They brought the food which was to have been an outdoor picnic but due to the delightful rain it was served indoors. There were 17 present. The Genealogical class under the leadership of Reta Sorensen made a trip to the Genealogical Library in Salt Lake Saturday. Mrs. Letitia Sorensen had Sunday dinner with her daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Petersen in Fielding. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Andersen of Malta were at her parents home Sunday, mr. and Mrs. Clyde Sorensen. st SAMOA tS. J The Burke Jones had a pleasant surprise a few weeks ago when their daughter, Sherri Leggett called and told them she was married. She and her husband, Tom Smoka were married in Elko, July 8. Sherries children, Briton, Shana Lyn and Jennifer were present for the wedding. The Jones' plan a family dinner for the couple sometime in August. The couple will make their home in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Sorensen and Mr. and Mrs. Bart Sorensen attended the pageant at Manti, Ut. Wednesday evening. Mrs. Louise Douglas spent Saturday in Bear River City with her daughter Anne Holmgren and family. Mrs. Doug Allen and children were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Merlyn Jackson. Gwen Fonnesbeck spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Stan Fonnesbeck. Gwen just returned from Washington D.C. where she has been working for the past several months.
