INTRAMURAL BOWLERS: Letters of intent for the 1997-9- 8 winter bowling season are due to the bowling center no later than today. Letters of intent are available at the bowling center. The team captains meeting is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 18, at 1 p.m. in the bowling center. DOD civilians are eligible to participate. YOUTH BOWLING REGISTRATION: The 1997-9- 8 youth bowling registration, for youth 18 and under, will be held at the bowling center Aug. 23- - Sept. 6. Registration fees are $7 per youth. Free practice sessions are scheduled on Saturday, Aug. 23 & 30 and Sept. 6 at 12:30 p.m. Youth must register for the bowling league to be eligible for the free practice sessions. Hill Bowling Center has scheduled the "Big 50" tournament for Thursday, Aug. 28 at 6:30 p.m. The tournament will consist of three games of 9 pin no-ta-p bowling. There is no fee to participate in the tournament; however, participants must have a validated "Big 50 Card" to be eligible. Validated "Big 50 Card" requires individuals to have bowled 10 games in open play. Prizes will be awarded during the tournament and a drawing will be held to forward participants' names to be eligible for the Air Force grand prize drawings. Individuals must be present to win the prizes. "JUST KIDS" BOOK BUSTERS: Today Aug. 31. For every five books read, the base library will issue a coupon for a free game of bowling and shoe rental. No limit on number of coupons obtained. FAMILY NIGHT: Tuesdays, p.m., for only $10 per lane. Maximum of six bowlers per lane, unlimited bowling and free shoe rental.
