Show 18 Hilltop Times July 18, 1996 3 golf tourney nears HLA's The deadline to sign up for the Aircraft Directorate's annual golf tournament is Friday. The tournament on July 25 is open to everyone. There will be morning and afternoon shotgun starts in a scramble format. There's also a blind draw for prizes after the tournament. The trip runs Aug. 1 and departs Equipment Checkout, Bldg. 402, at 10 a.m. and returns on the 11th at 6 p.m. All Department of Defense personnel, their families and guests can attend. The $98 cost includes transportation, campground for two nights, raft and equipment and three meals (Saturday lunch, dinner and Sunday breakfast). The trip will run on a group participation basis. Patrons must provide a tent, sleeping bag and pad, pillow, flashlight, warm jacket, poncho, sun hat, sunscreen, sunglasses with safety strap, personal items and clothing. Patrons should also bring their swimsuit and money, camera and film in a waterproof bag. Optional items include snacks and beverages in unbreakable containers.
