The center is also sponsoring a canoe trip to East Canyon Reservoir June 15 and July 21. The July 21 trip will feature canoe lessons. The trips will be made by van, departing from Bldg. 564 at 9 a.m. and leaving the reservoir at 6 p.m. to return to Hill AFB. E ach person must provide their own lunch for the day. Cost is $10 per person which includes transportation and all canoeing equipment. Registration deadline for the canoe trips will be the Friday before the trip. Well, come and enjoy swimming at the outdoor pools. They will open May 25 at noon. Pool No. 2, Bldg. 461, is located near the NCO Club and Thornton Recreation Center. Pool No. 3, Bldg. 483, is located in the vicinity of the hospital and Child Care Center. The outdoor pools will be open from noon to 7 p.m. daily through the Labor Day weekend. Passes are available for purchase at the Hess Gymnasium. Individual yearly passes are $15, family yearly passes are $33.40, individual summer only passes are $9, and family summer only passes are $27. Canvdn A Collision lKf Repair Water exercise offered All exercises in this class are done at the shallow end of the pool so swimmers will not have to get their faces wet. The resistance of the water will help you tone up quickly, similar to using weights on land. The buoyancy of the water also aids the swimmer work out with stiff and sore muscles. The program includes warmups, stretches, strengthening and toning exercises while relieving tensions and improving body proportions. Classes are held Monday, Wednesday and Friday, a.m.; and Tuesday and. Thursday, 8 p.m. Classes are free with pool admission and can be joined at any time. 10-1- 1 7-- Outdoor pool rental reservations now available Interested in having a pool party during the summer? Reservations can now be made by coming to the Base Pool Office, Bldg. 520, between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Rental fee is $20 per hour for a minimum of two hours, which includes two lifeguards.
