Hill AFB, qualified for Utah's State Tumbling Tournament at a meet hosted by the team here Saturday. Cheryl Luke, Susan Jaeger and Carla Frascari will try for state tumbling titles in March at Roy. In Saturday's competition, Luke finished third in the girl's 13 and 19, 1982 intermediate class with a score of 16.94 while Jaeger posted a 15.33 for the fifth position. Frascari captured fourth place in the girls 13 and advanced division with 15.77. 14-year-o- ld 14-year-- . ' More than 150 youth from as far north as Burley, Idaho to as far south as Huntington, Utah competed in the ' meet. Center, Bldg. 883, is currently holding registration for. youth basketball leagues. The leagues are open to dependents, ages eight through 17, of active military, retired military and Department of Defense civilians. Registration fees for the leagues have been lowered to $8 for each child ' possessing a youth card and $10 per child without the card. According to Jim Dicus of the Youth Center staff, it is important to register as soon as possible. He said coaches will hold a draft in early December and hope to have all of the teams formed by Dec. 10. "Players returning from last year may stay with their original team providing they are still in that age group," he said. Mr. Dicus also invited all eligible youth to join him at a basketball clinic each Saturday through Dec. 4 at the Youth Center. Because of large turnouts at the past two sessions, he is dividing the clinic into two meetings. Youth between the ages of eight and 12 will practice from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. and youth ages 13 through 17 from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Anyone interested in coaching one of the teams should contact Mr. Dicus at Ext. 62419.
