Show Page 34 HILL TOP TIMES December 18, 1981 Keglers Korner Hill bowlers are looking forward to the half-yebreak and are trying to improve their team desperately standings. In the National League, it is pretty safe to say that 388 AGS No. 2 will be the top team at half-timThey have an e eight-gamlead over 2849 HSS No. 1 and lead Hospital No. 1 by 10 games. 2849 HSS No. 1 and Hospital No. 1 could easily change places the next couple of weeks if either team has a good night. The American League is a different story. Only five games separate the top three teams which shows 388 HSS No. 1 leading by only two games. 388 CRS No. 1 is only two games out and Det. 6 is five games out. High scratch bowlers for the National League were Mike Taylor with a 605 series and Paul Finkin with a 223 game. In the American League it was Harry Leschke all the way. He rolled a 635 scratch series and a 248 scratch game. Team 7 is still clinging to a 2V game lead over Team 9. In this league, top top position could change week to week. James Caudill, Pam Towne, Randy Lewis, Roxanne Lewis . and Danny Tuttle were high rollers on this league the past week. Team 2 still leads the Bantams by four games, followed by Team 12 and Team 7. High rollers on the league this week were Karen Kuralt, Tony Regensburger, ' Kevin Ivins, Kristine Bontrager and Bobby Kuralt. In the Hill Field Men's League, the Lobos still lead. This week they jumped ahead by four games. Knights of Columbus retained second place while the Rowdy Bunch overtook the Renegades for third spot. Dick Erickson of the Rowdy Bunch still is the high roller on the league, carrying a 191 average. Brent Ballantyne rolled a 598 scratch series and Max Allen had a 245 scratch game.
