Show June ! " HILL TOP TIMES 27, 1980 Base f earn shows at AAU Saturday, the Hill AFB Karate Club participated in the AAU Karate Tournament held in Tooele. The team made an outstanding showing led by Harold L. Cherry, team instructor, who Black Belt took first place in the light-WeigDivision by defeating Bemie Garcia, who is a member of the 1979-8- 1 USA National AAU team. Students who participated and place in the tournament are: Gene Anderson, first place Fighting, Middle Weight Black and Brown Belt Division; Tony Hall, second place Forms (KATA), Black Belt Division; John Sneed, fourth place Fighting, Green Belt Division; Stanley Toliver, second place Forms (KATA), Green Belt Division; Jesse Rocha, third place Fighting, Yellow Belt Division; and Dearn Taylor, fifth place Fighting, ht v, - i. - ;.
